Aloha – Just checking in during vacation to make sure things are OK back at the ranch!

Been in Hawaii for 4 flat days now and we finally got some surf today – yippeee!! Went out this morning in some 3-4 surf at Canoes in Waikiki. It was very fun, very crowded and very sunny.

I was super comfy and super protected wearing both my long sleeve rash guard shirt and some new organic and biodegradable mineral sunblock I’m trying out. I’m testing out 3 different brands during the 2 weeks I’m here in an effort to find a product that works AND doesn’t harm the environment or contain harsh chemicals that hurt ME, so check back as we may start carrying sunblock at Buy-Rash-Guards.com.

I have to admit the warm water and surfing sans wetsuit is VERY nice but it does leave you exposed to the harmful UV rays of the sun. All I can say is I’m glad rash guards and UV protective clothing were invented otherwise I’m not sure how I could protect my skin from the sun and potential skin cancer while I surf for hours in warm, sunny places like Hawaii.
